Dr. Christine Thompson offers a wellness lifestyle program with the objective of helping people change both their mental and physical health habits in order to achieve a better quality of life and an improved sense of well-being. She calls the program “The Wellness Vacation” because Dr. Thompson believes that wellness should be approached with the same mindset we have when we go on a vacation. It should be enjoyable!
This program involves a series of consultations with Dr. Thompson, some written exercises designed to assist you in evaluating how well you are matching up your goals and desires for your life with the reality of daily living, and some exercises designed to address the body-mind connection. Once the important preliminary work is done, you will be assisted by Dr. Thompson in making lifestyle changes that fit your goals and interests.
The program specifically addresses the underlying beliefs that cause you to sabotage your efforts at health and happiness, educates you on healthy lifestyle habits, assists you in choosing lifestyle changes that suit your unique preferences and makes the changes fun and exciting.
